Fan Art Toy made by a co-worker of mine. This is an experimental STL he cooked up with landing gear and an intact radar dish. It prints nicely, but I found it to wobble a bit on my Makerbot 5th gen Replicator. This was more often than not causing the print to fail about half way through. I found that extending the raft in front and back of the model helped improve stability while printing and increase the print success rate. See Print Settings for more info on this.
I found that my extruder was tipping the model over about mid print. Adding a couple of helper discs to the print platform at close proximity to the model (in front and back), has helped prevent this wobble from ruining the print. Be sure to place them close enough to extend the footprint of your existing raft. By keeping the raft a contiguous solid piece, I was able to reduce the wobble of the model as the print progressed, resulting in a lower print failure rate.
