This is a new enclosure for the stockplop usb 3.0 SSD adapter. See https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-plops-a-unique-ssd-enclosure#/story
The original enclosure accepts only 7mm SSD's. I wanted to use my old 9.5mm SSD and when the need arrives I want to be able to read old laptop HDD's. With the new enclosure this is possible and it is still easy to use with 7mm SSD.
Print it standing up, with the face containing the usb and led slot touching the print bed. 1 shell, 100% infill. Designed to be printed without supports. Remove the sata to usb interface board from your original stock plop and insert it into the printed enclosure. Line up the mounting holes to the mounting pillars. Use the original screws to fix it into the new enclosure. TIP: magnetise your screwdriver by sticking a fridge magnet on it. This will make it easier to get the screws in.
