Hello Thingiverse, I am a new member and also new to the 3d printing world. this is my first project. I'm posting up my upgraded fan duct for my Lulzbot Taz 5. my heatsink was not getting cooled good enough so i decided to make this fan duct to cool the heatsink down. A 40x40x10 pc fan can be used with this fan duct. You can use a separate power source to power up the fan or adapt it to your existing extruder assembly with a 5v powered fan. I currently have a 5v fan connected to mine powered by a 5v usb adapter. this fan duct build is working good for me so far. Let me know what you guys think, and write some reviews of what you guys think.

Lulzbot Taz 5 Fan Duct Upgrade
I decided to create this Fan Duct, because i was having major issues with being able to print with the original Hexagon extruder, which i converted to a 1.75mm extruder. I wanted to design a fan duct that didn't just blow a small amount of air to one side of the extruder heatsink. So i designed it to wrap around, and blow most of the air to the heatsink. I also wanted to be able to use the existing 5v fan thats on the Taz extruder tool head.
