High as possible

I suggest printing like this to keep the outside pretty and print at 101-102% size for perfect fit!

  • Bottom Half: Bottom up
  • Top half: Top up
  • Front: Controller connectors up
  • you will need 4 spacers

First and only step!

Remove the Supports and glue the front part onto either the top or bottom half.
The spacers are supposed to go in between the top part and the Raspberry pi.
screws are used to keep the top and bottom half together, i had a hard time finding some small enough but maybe you wont have :D

Great model - many thanks. What screws did you use in the end?

I used small self cutting wood screws

Do you know the length and width?

Hello Vitting, very good works ! It's possible and simple for you to separate the element top dark gray color of the console in ipt files without buttons et buttons separate to for 3D print in different color ? thanks

would love to see this too mate.

so people have asked me for the files. sorry im very slow apperently. here they are. show me how it turns out if you edit them. please dont sell this on or anything. if anyone asks about it i'll be happy to help them. :D https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vckoe0vkf652hi8/AABpFedykAruWD9ViQaHearta?dl=0

Thanks for posting this! I'm going to make one as a gift. What color filament do you reccomend? Grey or silver?

Definitely matte Grey so it matches the original color

Is is possible to share the original file?

I want to make a remix

Would you be happy to share the .ipt files? I would love to add working buttons to it.

send me an email requesting them, and ill send them to you :) [email protected]

I would love the file, could you upload it here? Looking into creating this for the Raspberry Pi 2 and with working buttons if I manage to do that... :)

Sorry friend, I started from scratch a couple days ago and am nearly finished. Thanks anyway

So i played around with my Raspberry yesterday, and i got all hooked on making a new case. Are there any wishes if i were to do so? :D
I have an n64, Gamecube, Ps2, ps1, ps3(slim) and various gameboys to take measurements from, i could do others though harder without the console itself, what do you think :D? thank you

I would be more than interested in an N64 console case for raspberry Pi 3 .... Great work on the snes case (does this for the Pi 3 too?

I'd like to make one for the n64, very much. I don't have the system or the raspberries with me right now, as I just moved to San Francisco for the next year or so, if I can get my hands on a cheap system I would do it

Keep us posted and good luck with the move.

I made more changes, sorry :D its really good though !

Want to make a version with working switches??? :D

wow that would be hard, cool though! i did consider it, what should the switches do?

I would make the left "power" and the right "reset," just like the original snes. I just need to figure out how to fit up the power switch and some kind of temporary power interupt for the reset. It would be really cool to have it work though

yeah, but it making that would be hard :D if you have an idea how to make it i will be willing til alter the design for you or send you the files to do it yourself if you can :D

Spacer file should be fixed now! thx for the heads up :)

I had this problem, don't know why? It is the real size in the 3D editor. It is supposed to be 1/10 of the size Cura shows ☺ I will try to fix it tomorrow

I have the same problem.
If I escale the files 10/1 it will work ?

the file should be fixed, just download the new spacer file, same name :D

looking forward to this

should be fixed in the new file :)

Anyone else having scaling issues opening this? I open the main files and its too small and then the spacer is meters wide, I have tried in both CURA and ReplicatorG

should be fixed in the new file :)
