Mhh Simplify3D has some trouble to slice it. There are a lot of holes etc.

This is ideal for me as I only use right hand head. BUT my nozzle is about 6mm lower than the standard CTC. What program could I use to lower the cooling jets please?

Can i use the left ventilator for this? how i can turn it on while printing?

Hey man!
Great redesign! It is perfect for my Qilive Q.3622!
I've been using the dual side one, but I only have one extruder, so this is perfect!

So why did you take only half of the airflow and block the other half?

Because, as mentioned I only use one extruder and this was the easiest way to hack someone else's work for my uses.

How does thins fit with the MK10 hot block. I tried one that was very similar in shape to this , only a double , and my block was touching and melted it.

I seem to have enough room on my '13 FFC (MK8?)

I've changed to an E3D conversion with titan extruder now

So, where are the little Clips or Clamps for the bolts to hold it on?...

Over at the original. Why waste server space?

Thanks a lot for this.

Given that you mention not having to whine and requests a remix on downloads, this might seem a bit ironic, but I was wondering if you could remix it to fit from the back instead of the front, making it easier to see it the print as it is happening, and if it would be possible to make the exhaust encircle the entire nozzle. Then it would be absolutely perfect.

Regardless this is very nice, thank you.

That would actually be a lot of a rebuild, and since this has been working fine and it's on my workhorse printer, I probably won't mess with it any time soon

Hey man, I didn't try it yet,but here is one for the left side,
I only needed this one in fact, and I used this video to do it, very usefui !
Thanks again for sharing, Regards,

Very nice! Most slicers (S3D, Makerware, etc) will also mirror parts so you don't have to go through all that.

Awesome. You mentioned you don't have the left extruder motor on the carriage right? How would I go about taking that off and not having any problems? I know how to take it off etc, but the wire need to be plugged in still?

The white pin connector on the extruder stepper can be disconnected, so no motor needs be present. I left my hot-end in, because I didn't want to unwire it, but I did use the set screw to push it all the way up out of the way of any prints. I use the left-side fan leads to power my print cooler, currently, because it seems to turn on about 3 minutes in to a print :D
I used DSSGUY1's extruder spacer block (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:228759) and Thruit00's top plate (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:340031) but I'd like to modify both. This setup leaves it possible to slap the second extruder back in without trouble, should I want to.

Thanks for this. I was looking to do the same thing but continually got distracted.

No problem - I feel ya! Had part of the day off today and wanted to get some upgrades into the printer.
