This is a PSU cover for my P3steel 2.x.

Designed for use with the common 25A PSU.
Switch is from the Marquardt 1801 series.

Update (25.10.2015) :

  • cover for marquardt 1835 series switch uploaded

It's the next part of a complete series for P3steel parts. I redesigned every part based on my long time experience with the P3 steel.

Hi, you can make the installation plug a version for?

compatible psu 30a 360w?

For the big switch version, can you please identify the switch you are using as well as the power socket you are using? I have already printed the part and it is very nice, Thanks.

I really love your work and designs. I have only one question about your PSU setup, how did you mount the PSU to the chasis? Thanks. :)

You need a drill ;)

Is it mounted to the main frame (XZ) or to the part along Y axis? Can you post a photo of the mount?

All my covers are mounted on the PSU itself.

The PSU is mounted on the part along the y-axis. Just drill some holes that fit to your PSU.

Hi Lars,
i am building my own P3Steel and your collection of parts is really amazing! My next upgrade is this PSU cover, but I have a bigger switch (exactly like the one you used in your http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:659599 ). Would you mind sharing your scad file or upload a version with a bigger hole for the switch? Thanks a lot!

Modified version with bigger switch hole is now ready for download.

Thanks a lot! Keep up with those great P3Steel upgrades!

Almost perfect, fitted my 30A supply but on the connector side the wall was a little to thick to fit between the aluminium casing and the terminalblock but i will dremel that out.

Thx! made my powersupply alot saver :)

Hi Lars,

Thank for your design.
On the photo it looks like that there is some part of your printer blocking the iec power connector access . Can you plug in you power cable?

The photo is bad. There is enough space for the plug.
