Summary

I add arcol.hu hotend support for Greg's Hinged Accessible Extruder.
This is my first ever try with openscad.
So the code maybe not the most optimal.
Here it is the version 2 of extruder block with arcol hot-end support. I have widened the base in the middle, to not allow any movement for the arcol hot-end.
Version 2 is untested! As I did not have the time to print it yet.

Instructions

The stl file is for arcol.hu hotend. The scad file can be set to any other supported head type.

When I was incorporating this mount option, I noticed that you only use 2 of what looks like 3 mounting holes on the arcol. Why not put the 2 holes on the other side and add support for the 3rd hole? Using 2, the hotend will likely wobble around as the feed pressure varies?

I'm testing this design with arcol hot end for a while. Greg you are right I have some issues because of the two mounting holes. arcol hot-end has 3 little legs what should be hold it stable against the extruder block. But because this extruder block is thinner then the original. the third leg is in the air. what can cause the hot end to tilt a few degree. If I size the base of the extruder block 4mm wider that would fix the issue. So version 2 coming soon.

There is only two mounting holes on my http://arcol.huarcol.hu hotend. I don't have any wobble.

Cool!. Can you add a pic of the hotend mounted?

Ill pull this into my repo.

thanks.

I just add an image of the hotend mounted.
