This is so nice, but I can't get the pieces to fit. Has anyone done this with PLA? I need to probably shrink or enlarge one side, but haven't found a % that works.

Hello. I printed out the deer by PLA. My printer nozzle size 0.4 , Layer 0.2 , Fill density 20%

have u tried filing the outline of the deer you could have had an over extrusion or squishing effect on the first layer or layer

You raise a good idea. But it doesn't seem to be just on the lower layers. I find my printer seems to "color just outside the lines" because I often cannot get interlocking pieces to fit. I thought it might be a characteristic of PLA but now I think my printer is a bit too imprecise.

Have you liked at ure setting cause for these types of things i print them at .1-.2 mm layers instead of .3

I hat it from : David Carl and my. Brean

Nice and simple model looks great, so we did a time-lapse of the deer itself being printed here it is https://youtu.be/1fmhqBdiT4M

Wonderful! What is the grey, almost stone-like (or perhaps felt-like?) filament you're using for the deer heads in the second photograph? I like its tissue-paper-esque appearance.

LOL OK, thanks. That'll teach me to scrutinise the images more closely ;-)

Yes, it is the background that is a piece of grey felt.

That's the background
