hey, doesn't this guy's puzzle predate your puzzle?

what size do you use for the cube to be the size you have it

Where do you use super glue?

If you are using the pin, then put the glue on the small end and place it where the screw would go. Although it would be better to find a screw that would fit instead.

What size is the self boring screw?

I used a 6/32 Self-Boring Machine Screw, after scaling the puzzle up 20x. If you don't have a screw handy, I can design a pin that you can glue in.

If you could design a pin that would be great.

There, I have uploaded a new version with a pin inside. You can separate it in your slicer, or (in theory) print the whole thing in place with supports. If you print one, please post a make. Thanks!

Also, how would you assemble the puzzle with the plastic screw?

Attach the outer parts into the middle parts, put a bit of glue into the hole for the pin, combine the two halves, then push the pin in and hold it down till the glue is dry, and finally glue on the center cap.

so is it supposed to print as a solid entity?

Nope. The mechanism is simple enough that it's possible, but I haven't tried it, which is why in the description I recommend separating the pieces in your slicer. It's only a solid entity now because I have no clue how to separate pieces in Solidworks. :)

what slicer do you use to separate it because right now I'm using matterslice and have no clue

I used Cura, which is free to download online. Or, if you don't mind waiting, I can try to separate it into separate .STLs using meshmixer today. That could take about an hour.

There. Print each of the new pieces once, scale up at least 20x. And please post a make if you print one! Thanks.

all the corners seem the same shouldn't there be two big two medium and two small

I have fixed this. Scale each piece up 20x, and it should be good to go.

there are only three corners shouldn't there be four

Oh. Oops. I will fix that.

so what parts do I print now because I've printed all of them

alright will do thanks
