Would it be possible to add a version with slightly smaller holes (say, 2.7mm) for forming threads? Adding nut traps would be possible but would require a small solid layer and drilling out afterwards (given the orientation), which I try to avoid. This alternate version would speed up effector assembly by removing the need for nyloc tightening, which I find painfully slow.

I'm not sure how to use it (I don't have the effector printed yet).
You press the J-Head into and fasten it to the effector using 5 screws. On the other size of the effector the push fit connector is mounted.
Are there any extra seals (between J-Head and bowden connector), washers etc.?

jhead is pressed into the retainer, 4 bolts through the effector also go through the retainer. I used washers on both the head and the nut end and used 4 nylocks. You simply tighten the nuts until snug, there should be an air gap in-between the retainer and the effector, no seals, washers etc.. Hope this helps. The fifth middle hole is for the z probe to pass though.

I gotta say, nice job with this one! Mine printed perfectly on the first try at 0.4mm. It has a satisfying click when you press the J-head in. I think 0.5mm may be more clearance than really necessary, but that probably doesn't matter if your J-head fits tight into the groove in the effector. I used the version with the small hole to support the probe.
