Hey I printed this and made a Time Lapse of it if anybody wants to check it out.

People that have printed this successfully, did you use raft or brim? I know the creator said either but I want to know what worked for you. My print fell over in the middle of the night :( I didn't use either (i had glue on the bed at least). Thank you for any feedback!!

I used brim, but I think either one will work.

Thank you, I used a brim and it came out great! I did a brim of 12mm not sure if that was too much, but I really didn't want the print falling again.

Were in the process of making it and so far a few messups but we got it this time

how long should this take to print

This mask is awesome, I love the one I made in glow in the dark filament. I have to ask, is it from a game or a movie or just a custom design?

How do you print the lower part?

How do you print the lower part?

wonderful thank you

I can't print the lower part as advised. Tried with and without rafts. There's a level on the chin area that is extruded in the air. Not even the rafts are created for that part. I managed to print the bottom part, but I needed rafts and supports. Also the Jaw connection is too far from the real one in us, which makes the entire mask go down and block my vision when I open my mouth instead of opening the mask jaw. Great work, but could use some improvement.

I'm having a little trouble with the lower jaw. It kept curling at the outer edges because of how quickly it flairs out. I had to manually flatten it every few layers until the flaring slowed. I also apparently have a longer face than the designer because while the top half fits fine, the underside of the jaw digs into my chin and attempts to pull the whole mask down if I open my mouth.

Everything worked perfectly and slide together nicely. I love the amount of detail you put into this project and I can honestly say you should be proud of your work! Thank you for the wonderful design.

I started the top half of the print earlier tonight but had to stop it roughly 35mins in when the right part of the teeth popped off the bed right when the print was about to start connecting all of the teeth parts. So the orientation I used was Top down. Should I have oriented a different way? I'm going to try again tomorrow after I slow down the print speed.

4 more try with different nozzle abd retraction speeds and the left side still pops off the bed within the first 15mins of printing. Gonna. Try using a raft this next go.

it says no. supports come with the design and are only at the hinges for the jaw. im actually making the top half now

This is very nice! It printed well, fit well, looked cool! so, all in all well done!

What kind of PLA is that used for the "purple" / shiny mask?

Yes Purple but not shiny. I applied some spray bronze.
