Designed in OpenSCAD for 8mm smooth and threaded rods, 608 bearings - all of which you can alter in the script. The clamp tightens with a 3mm bolt.
The bearing is supported by a lip from below, allowing the use of a locknut (or jammed nuts) and washer to reduce the weight suspended from the stepper motor shaft.
