This design needs a lot of improvements. I printed it(it was my first 3D print) and was fed up trying to use it.

Finally discarded the prints and reverted to kraft paper.

Several questions/issues:
1) All the pieces are "oriented landscape" (not laid down on the bed). Should I rotate all of them or just generate a lot of support materials?
2) The last file (new5.stl) is a collection of eight screws including some floating off the bed. Again, shouldn't these be separate files (repeated 8 times on the bed)? And do THESE need supports?

Have you had any luck with this? I used Netfabb to break apart the pins, but even then when I printed them they were so small I can't imagine the best printers printing them good quality. If you successfully print this I recommend screws instead of the pins. The case has been a hassle for me. No matter which way I have tried it, I'm not getting good adhesion. I've tried a few different filaments that I've had good results with on other projects, but this just doesn't want to work. Both Rephone cases on Thingiverse are not very good. I printed the other after converting the .stp file to an .stl, but the dimensions are off. The screen doesn't even fit.

Same here. The screen did fit on mine but the two parts won't join perfectly. Finally most of the connector parts broke and had to revert back to kraft paper.

Hi, the newest version is still missing part nr 2 (the grey-colored middle part), file name 2.stl. Could you please upload it? I am really eager to try this soon.

I believe the upload is missing 2.stl

sorry to make a mistake. I was trying upload a new version, and fail to upload it. I will try again.

could you please update the files. upload the missing parts? Thanks

Can we get the 3D file for the (middle grey) part which makes the RePhone connect to the case?
