Case to be used with the "Pi Camera HDMI Cable Extension" (see https://www.tindie.com/products/freto/pi-camera-hdmi-cable-extension/) and IR LED array (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/CCTV-CCD-Camera-60-Degree-Red-24-LEDs-IR-Illuminator-Infrared-Board-Plate/2025819892.html) as I'm using Noir.

The HDMI carries the video signal and 12V needed for the LEDs, all mounted on the printer using SnapFlow

The LED ring is infrared only or does it also make visible light?

And the link goes to an light ring that seems no longer available, would you happen to know another source for it?

the one i have is IR since my camera is Noir, but it's up to you

the one i have is IR since my camera is Noir, but it's up to you

What do I need to power those leds??

Most IR LED boards like the one mentioned in the description use a 12V power source.

Sure... but I believe The raspberry pi can only power up to 5v, isnt it?

You're powering the LED lights not the RPi..
