2017-04-21 added 2 rims & 1 tire for the wider rear 2017 wheel

Anyone interested in the work of Daniel Noreé has probably not missed the fact that he has released - OpenR/C Formula 1. The F1 car can be printed in PLA and is designed so that everybody will be able to print and build it without any hassle. Even a ball bearing kit is now available http://www.fasteddybearings.com/openrc-f1-sealed-bearing-kit/ for the car :- )

I created some rain tires for the original rims but I also designed these low profile rim/tires just for fun. The low profile tires feature a new snap-on design that will secure the tire using a triangular shape that´s interconnecting the parts. Also the tires are not sealed with this design, making them a bit softer since the air is not trapped inside (but I also included a solid version).

This snap-on design is also available for tires/rims that can be used with the OpenR/C Touring Car or similar RC cars naturally.

PI-ETPU 95-250 Carbon Black is a professional 3D printer flexible and conductive filament

Don´t need the conductivity?

Well the conductivity is great for some things but perhaps not your first choice? Then consider this:

This filament will give you some really nice benefits if the conductivity is not an disadvantage for your 3D printed design:

•The material composition eliminates “stringing / webbing” issues.
•The hardness of 95 shore A and the carbon black filler makes for great print abilities.
•The carbon black filler is an excellent UV stabilizer thus the prints are built to last in very harsh environments.
•The matte black surface finish has a very exclusive look.
•The material feels very nice and dry to touch.
•The elongation at break is only 250%.

Is there any way that you can modify these to a 12mm hex? I printed out the snow tires to put on a traxxas teton for a trip to the beach and then saw that the wheels don't have the 12mm hex. Hope you can help, OH and I have a set of your sand tire/wheels on my JLB Cheetah with the 17mm wheel adapter. Going to the beach in October and can't wait to see how they do. Thanks again for your designs.

I will add it to the wish-list but then you need to give me more info about dimensions, diameter of axle, thickness of the 12mm hex etc. contact me through http://palmiga.com/ http://rubber3dprinting.com/

Would it be easier to make snow tires for the "Touring" rims? Because the Touring rim fits great and I already have them printed. If it would be easier to make new wheels for the F1 snow tires then the same spacing and such as the touring will work great. Thanks again.
