Christ Carl, don't break any of your nice equipment jerking yourself off

Question, these cost $40 on amazon to buy the whole thing, I looked at just the magnets from Rockler and they are $26-$38 each, you would need two. Is there a better/cheaper place to make these magnets, or can you make them yourself? I would love to make this but it would be cheaper to just buy it unless I'm missing something.

The value makes most sense when you get one or more of the starter kits with base + magnets so that you already have the expensive part and just print the cheap plastic part. One of the benefits of a printed featherboard compared to the commercial ones is that since they're cheap, you can abuse them a bit and simply print another when it wears out. So if, for example, I push some fins into the blade, or snap some off I don't really worry about it.
