My walk about camera bag doesn't have enough internal dividers to keep all my small m43 lenses separate. This dual lens cap allows you to connect two lenses together and prevents them from knocking in to each other.

Another use is to place these on all lenses. One per lens. Then when you change lenses you take the lens off the camera and mount to the open end. The remove the lens you are switching to and mount it to the camera.

I used to glue rear lens caps together for this very purpose. The only way to swap lenses faster is to not use a cap at all.

Why? So you can store two lenses in the same compartment without them bumping into one another. Thanks to adamhope for making this. It's something I've been meaning to make but never got around to ordering extra rear caps.
