my last design

a core xy
z axis with double z resolution and gt2 belt

stl joined
bom available soon

alpha version running good (with cantilever z) need to print and build last z version !

15 nov endstop added on support z axis

Z rod length need to be 340mm !

update on 3 parts (2 support for z axis stepper)
all gt2 clamp are now identical (make same like x y axis)

add some gap for the z enstop

5 dec
final version of z axis (double resolution and only one stepper)
work great (use thisd one)

Where can we see a BOM, and how many of each of the printed parts need to be printed?

Very nice work. How to make this with heated bed?
What is the print area please?

no problem to add a heated bed

print the part in petg or abs (which hold the glass plate)
put a 5mm aluminium plate, put a 220v heater silicon bed under the alu plate
put a glass plate on the alu plate (with double sided scotch)

print area: 200x200x200

Thank you for responding. I just seen your other one that is direct drive. Is it much bigger than this one?

litlle mistake z travel is also 200mm

other design is same print area , just different head

Me again, do you have recommended configurations for the printer?

I made some changes and am using a conventional Z axis but the X,Y axis design is working great so far with Marlin firmware.
I'm really liking the design.

what do you mean by "configurations" ? (cura's setting or something like that ?)

I meant the configurations for the firmware. Things like the acceleration, jerk, stepper speed etc. I have it running nicely but I imagine you have spent more time fine tuning things.

i'm not a big fan of speed optimization (lack of time as well)
i prefere quality instead of speed
i'm happy printing at 70mm/S and travelling at 100mm/s (acc and jerk not modified!)

i 'm busy working on a new small model (a 100mmx100mx100mm) !

Okay thanks, I will try the defaults and see how it goes. Currently I'm running at 50mm\s and 100mm\s travel but It can go faster I'm sure. (I set my acc and jerk much lower on my previous printer and have not changed it back yet so I will try the defaults)

A small model will be great especially if you can make a version that uses the cheap 28byj-48 steppers like the ToyREP printer uses.

i will use nema 17 (still bought!)
but using the 28byj-48 will also be possible with an adaptor plate like this

but the speed is horrible!

Aah yes the adapter should work.
If you do the bipolar hack and run larger pullys the speed should be better. But the torque is quite low so one may have to run 2 motors in place of one nema 17.

Im building a pcb mill at the moment but when thats done I will give the small motors a try.

Fabcore - direct version (L3k)

Is there a bill of materials with needed items

i have one
unverified !

it is globally the same as a fabrap 3.2 with minor difference!

Gibt es ein Stückliste mit benötigten Einzelteilen

english or french please

he means if there is a part list with necessary parts to build this printer, use google translate next time if you don't have a helpful thingiverse user who speaks german like me. :D

I'm not sure if I am missing something but how do you fit the 4mm bowden pneumatic fitting to the extruder?

my method
i use a welder iron
i soften the pla (without touching) 15s and quickly, i screw the bowden in the holes

need to improve this maybe, but it work great for me

OK, I think its because my local shops only sell the 1/8" thread fittings I did not know you get M6 threaded ones as well.

Thanks for the soldering iron tip.

I like the design, but would you please clarify what double Z resolution exactly means?

read this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mechanical_advantage_device

by using pulley, you double the resolution and also the weight that you can lift

like every reprap printer ! you still need to buy the vitamins (non plastics parts)

an update soon on the z axis

are almost all of the printer printable?

print size 200200200
boxe size (w)460(D)364(h)450

i 'm working on a new z axis!

what is the print and box dimensions?

z rod length need to be 340 mm

upper z rod axis : endstop added

files are back
changes on the z axis: 2 stepper now

belt path is not correct
design need to be change to 2 steppers in z
will upload file soon

i'm currently building this final version
expect some (minor) changes for next week

individual part addded!
(be careful to part :" 2 hotend clamp+endstop" , was separated in plate!)

do you want lm10uu on all axis ?

you can use cura to separate part or other slicer
i will upload individual part asap

Thanks! Individuals would be nice. Thanks for the fast reply.

Is it possible to design a LM10UU Linear bearings alternative ? Also it would be nice to have the parts separated since large batches like this are hard to print on my current printer.

Can you attach single part STL files. Your STL grouping will not fit onto my current printer in those layouts.
That and the BOM and id be happy. The design looks good.

Super boulot de 3d et de conception (j'en reve).
Nouveau ici je ne trouve pas votre adresse de site Internet?

oui des que possible

Excellent ! Bravo !
Tu vas mettre une BOM ?
