Summary

I have moved, checkout this design at https://www.youmagine.com/designs/d-d-props-collection

It's a simple prop for Dungeons and Dragons, if you play with a board and miniatures. It's a twisted pillar, perfect for a snake room or a temple.

It's my first OpenSCAD design, so I'm just toying around really. But it came out quite good. The pilar doesn't use 'perfect' circles, but I like them that way, they look a bit like snake scales. You can adjust the OpenSCAD file for better circles if you want.

Instructions

Because it's a slim object you'll need good cooling. So enable cooling, and make sure your fan cools good.

There is some 'unprintable' overhang at the top in the corners, just let it print, it will drop a bit, but the next layers will come out fine.

Print a whole bunch of them so you can put them in hallways.

Nice work. I actually expected to see a lot more of this type of use for home 3d printers.thingiverse. If I had this back when I was playing alot I would've really gone through a load of plastic

Well, you can expect a few more of these from me. I have a simple utility crate design, but it needs a few tweaks because it didn't print right yet. And got plans for stuff like tables/chairs. But I'm also open for suggestions :)
