Nice extruder but... bad accessories !

The part cooling fan bracket is too short, cools the hot end instead of the part itself, while the fan hith my right Z coupler when Z<=10mm.

The ABL sensor is HUGE.

The filament sensor works when it wants to, should have done a mechanical filament sensor variant.

Also the X axis endstop and chain holder is too flimsy, make it larger ! Like here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3113314

Un extrusor excelente, desde luego. Tenía problemas de impresión con el ventilador de capa, pero tras aislar el bloque con lana de roca hay una diferencia increíble en las impresiones.
It works perfectly. You have to isolate your hotend with rockwool to use the layer fan, once you done this, it works very nice.

Funcionaria para una Anet A8¿?

No venía mal un soporte para BLtouch... :P

I sugest isolate your heatblock with that:

Me encanta como has resuelto el fan duct pero también me parece que queda alto. Aislando el bloque se eliminan los problemas de impresión pero creo que enfríaría mejor el filamento si estuviera unos 3 o 4mm más bajo. Además, si enfriara mejor, podríamos bajar de vueltas el fan y sería más silencioso.

Me pasa lo mismo que a @rodridagaz parece como si las medidas del fan duct fueran para un v5 en vez de un v6

Hello, thanks for asking!, no, only for 1.75mm filament, I'm sorry...
Note that direct drive extruder works better with 1.75mm filament because of torque optimization, 3mm need much more torque.

How much infill percentage is the best to be used to print this in ABS?

Hello, thanks for asking! 30-40% and 1mm shell is enauht using a good quality filament.

You are right, a 48mm long stepper will be too big for that extruder, It is design with a 40mm stepper motor in order to have a moderate weight and strength more than enough to extrude.
