E3D v6 mount for Wanhao i3 - version 2

Is the nozzle Z position nominally different, i.e. do you have to substantially change the limit swith height?

Hi. Sorry I didn't see your comment before now. I do not think that the nozzle is same height as standard, didn't have that in mind when designing it. I normally use a Z-height screw to adjust the height :)

Pictures are now uploaded :)

Was thinking the same thing - would love to see if anyone has made this and how did they adjust the direct feed of the v6. Was thinking about adapting a v6 w/ volcano kit.

I will upload pictures tomorrow, but I can tell it has been working perfect for the last couple of weeks :)

Awesome thanks! I went ahead and bought the hotend. How are you adapting the direct drive / filament feeder?

I'm using Bowden extruder with PFTE tube:)

Any update on the pictures?

I uploaded some pictures :)

What do you think? :)

looks good :)
how fast can you print ?

Around 60-70 mm/s :)
