I MADE THIS AND REVIEWED IT: https://youtu.be/sXLJu3g0z9M

PLEASE WATCH IF YOU CONSIDER PRINTING THIS

how can I connect the body? The pieces printed great but with the glue, I'm using, the body breaks apart whenever I pull the trigger.

The trigger takes a lot of work to push, how do you guys make it easier to pull?

Sand and oil the parts. That worked for me. I used my mom's sewing machine oil.

Probably a really dumb question, does this need to be glued together when finished printing or do things sort of "snap" into place? I think I'm gonna give this a go just to see how it turns out.

No, the pins fit snugly and lock it all in place. Worse case a tiny bit of glue on the pins to hold it together.

Can someone help me out with showing how to put it together? Brain teaser...

guessing you got it by now but anyone having trouble just assemble the 3 small pieces (not the star round one)before you put them in they mostly can only go 1 way

would be great if you could upload the pieces into separate files.
thanks

can i have the pins stl. file please?

Uploaded the pins only (you only need 3, but 4 are in the STL). Upload a pic of your print when you finish.

PLEASE PUT THE PIECES INTO SEPARATE PRINTS
I PRINTED FOR 12 FRICKIN HOURS AND ONE THING WENT WRONG
IM NOT PRINTING IT AGAIN UNLESS THEY ARE SEPARATED

You can also do it in Simplify3D.

Open the STL file then go to Mesh > Separate Connected Surfaces

Hello. I'm not the person who made this but I had the same problem as you. My printer clogged up and stopped printing at about 1 inch from completion. I advise that you put the file into Cura by Ultimaker. Click on the gun and then right click on it. Press "Split object into parts and it will split it up for you. You can delete any parts you don't want. I hope this helps.

Where does the fourth pin go? I only see three

Did you figure it out? I think it's just a spare but it could explain why mine isn't firing like 70% of the time. I may just be really thick but either I assembled it incorrectly or I should be using that last pin somehow.

I only used three pins in mine. I broke one trying to take it apart so it is likely that it is a spare. If yours isn't firing consistently try sanding the parts a little so they work together better. I also found that tighter rubber bands help the mechanics work together better so you can fire faster and more consistently.

Thanks! I'll definitely try that. :)

Any chance you can post/send me the editable files? I have autodesk 123d and would like to add a few pins to align the barrel sections and the grip section. Once done I'll send back and you can post on here for everyone to have!

Is there any way you could post just the files of the two barrel pieces? My print failed just an inch from being complete.

Mine is doing the same thing. Finishes around 1 inch build height. Let me know if you figure out why.

Just printed this with Brim enabled on Ultimaker 3D printer. Turned out awesome http://youtu.be/dt6IdCPctu0http://youtu.be/dt6IdCPctu0

Good afternoon, master.

Guns are not my favorite printed object, but this one only fires rubberbands. looks cool,

When will the stl be available for our open-sourced 3D printers be available? I am hoping to get my Prusa i3 ready in time for the stl!

Many thanks for the stl, you beat me too as my Prusa i3 is not yet commissioned!

Good luck! This is a great print.
