Summary

This is a basic model of a character I created for a video game concept. A simple character, a basic over weight brat of a dragon child that kind of plays as one of the comedic foils in the storyline of the game itself. More likely than not this is not going to be the final design of the character so I feel confadent sharing him with everyone. Also makes me feel accomplished by turning some silly concept in my mind and making it real.

Also, this is the first thing that I've designed that I printed on my 3D printer, so I decided to share the chubby brat with everyone else.

Not to mention those tiny wings might also serve as a test of your printer's accuracy and support structure building.

Instructions

Use support structure, probably at around 40 degrees maybe.

Also, the bottom of the model isn't perfectly flat.

Another quick warning, I don't know if he will fit on a cupcake with support material. I 'bet' he can but I can not conferm it.

I really like this model, good job.

This was printed without any support on a Prusa in sections.
I'll upload the sliced files.

Wonderful model, I printed one and it came out great, can't post a picture though for some reason (no "I made one" button).

Try it now, because I personally would like to see it.

Uploaded! I printed with full support @ 40mm/s, took about 2.5 hours or so. Because of the support there's a lot of cleanup required, but afterwards it looked great. It's now happily perched on my coworker's monitor. Thanks again for creating this!

That's so awesome, I'm glad everything printed out well for you, especially those dinky little wings. And I can understand how long it took, mine didn't take as long but that's because I printed it out with a 0.35 mm layer height and you can tell there's not much detail.

Though hopefully I can print him out with the new smaller layer height and with the blue ABS.

I'm glad you liked him, I was surprised at how many people thought he was cute.

PICK UP YOUR SOCKS! Oh and I love this model, thank you.

Also, Im leaving my socks there just to annoy you :p

Thanks, it was fun to create.
