A robot i made. It is nor very stable on its two wheels, but quite funny to navigate

Of corse you can use whatever you want to control your robot. I used a nodemcu, which allows you to send commands over wifi.

The robot is powered by a simple battery bank.
I used two 28byj-48 stepper motors.

Be aware of the big overhang on the main body part. It doesn't have to look smooth, but your printer should be able to print it.

Looks very cool!! do you have more details about the cableing of your robot and the code you used ? eventually you have a web site or published details on an other tool (google+) etc.

Since I don't really have time to write much in the next few weeks, so I simply packed some code and uploaded it. I don't have a wiring diagram. But There is nothing special. Just look how to connect the drivers to an arduino and you will be fine. I would recommend to control the steppers and everything else width an arduino, since it is a lot faster.

Thank you for the comment, I checked your code and can see in run.lua that the step motors are connected to pin 0-1-2-3 and 4-5-6-7 so should not be that difficult to make it work. I wonder if you had implemented the Ultrasonic sensor as I cannot find it in your code. What kind of sensor do you have ? i think I have a spare i2c sensor that could work.

I have not yet implemented the Sensor. It's a HC-SR04. But I once tested it width an arduino. I am a bit worried about the ability of measuring the time accurately enought width the lua interpreter.

I made a relatively simple webserver for the nodemcu, that allows to control the robot width WASD over a common web browser. I can upload a .zip file containing the project, if you wish.
