Support is designed from zero but inspired in invent0r great design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:661185, it was made before he published his rework: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1216890 which is also amazing. In fact if you guys are not interested in mounting FAN for the print or proximity sensor yo should use his, cause is way cooler.
Having said that, I used to have an e3dv6, and while moving to chimera i found some good designs out there that offer either proximity sensor OR fans for the print, but i couldn0't find one simple enough that incorporated both. (if inventor had published his rework before i would probably just have edited his design :D.
the source is made in Freecad, so I'm also posing the source in case you guys want to rework for your own needs.
There was a difficulty on the original designs all over and it was the difficulty to remove the bowden tubes because the fittings are down below (you would need a screwdriver or something to actually push the fitting while pull the tube) so i designed a fitting adapter (you can see it in the pictures). STL and freecad source posted.
Also, you will notice that the design has side slots. Those are for inserting security bowden clips I designed (also posting the stl and the freecad source). I originally used this clips with my e3dv6: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:668232, and they work great to ensure your bowden tube stays well in position and no movement at all. Unfortunately, that clip wouldn't work with this design so i created some new ones, nevertheless, some credit must go to WheelbarrowTech for the idea. BTW, you need to make sure the tube is well seated all the way down while inserting the clips.
I'm also posting the fan grids (made in this customizer: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:735449) and the STL of the fan duct, which took from here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:510957 and made a very slight adjustment for my e3d v6 mount, so i actually just used them in this design (they work extremely well so.. nothing to reinvent there :) thanks to shuttl3d for that design)
please let me know if you have any questions! :)

Just got a Chimera hot end. Do the fans on each side limit the x-axis movement/range?
Hi great file Is there any way you can edit the sensor mount to fit the 18mm sensor? The sensor is 18mm for the circular and the nut is 23.8mm flat side to flat side.
can you also change the holes for the ptfe push fittings to 10mm?
please..
i have tried to do this in freecad but a) the version 7 files is not there and B) i have no idea what am doing ha
I've been using this one for awhile and really like it! I was thinking about retiring my aluminum bed and going back to glass. Any chance you could change the sensor mount to a BLTouch mount? :)
James
PS. Seriously, one of the best designs around. I can't believe how people skimp on not using fans...
Their website has incredible documentation, here is a link to the exact specs

And here is absolutely anything else you could possibly need!

Thanks again!!

Hey, thanks for the design. What is the difference between v6 and v7?
I think I'll need to use Akegata's mod, but maybe I can modify your v7 to the larger Bowden screw in deals.
Thanks!
James
How about the freecad version of v07? I'm customizing this for my chimera clone, might as well use the latest version to base that on. :)
Also, what are the holes facing the fan mount for? Same question for the semi circles just beneath said holes.
Are they meant to support the fan mount somehow? I would actually need this, as my fans get loose after a while..
This is awesome. Can you post a version without the sensor though? If not maybe i can try to edit your file to cut that part out
