what kind of hi-hat is that?
when i first saw it i thought it was a rivet cymbal.

I am about to print this in the coming days, this is a life saver! I have a bunch of felts that are keeping mine in place at the moment.

Version 4 is a more refined design in a number of aspects.

Version 2 has a little more internal clearance for stands with tall bushings, like Gibraltar, and has a longer bushing itself on top for better bottom-hat stability.

I don't have anything to make this with. Any possibility of making one for purchase? Or even some advice from someone with your knowledge would be great! I really hate to drill a hole in my brand new AE Cymbal, with very minimal experience in metal drilling.

Honestly, though, it's quite easy to drill out the bottom hat if you use a step bit. Don't attempt it with a twist bit, though, whatever you do.

Weird... I just replied but I don't see it. Anyway, I said that there are many 3D printing services on the web that can print it for you. The source is at https://tinkercad.com/things/aoJEN5TuOul-hi-hat-stand-mount-for-gen-16-direct-source-pickuphttps://tinkercad.com/things/a.... If you go there you can order prints directly, and you can even customize it if you want to. Not sure if you need to sign up or not, though.

Thank you Julia! I really appreciate it, Really neat work! I had no idea technology like this was so readily available, very interesting!
