Hey SyFy; this is a minor nit, however, I have to pick it for my own sanity: the files in the current zip are spelled wrong. All of them come down as "Rociante", when it should be "Rocinante". I'm manually renaming my files because I couldn't stand for them to be off (dude, I really love this series), and had to mention it to you.

Love the books and really enjoyed season one. Currently printing at 150%, will post pics when done. Would love to see one without the fake gas tanks.

Are there official files for the undisguised Rocinante? I see a few remixes

"This is a gunship, and I am a Navy pilot! To hell with this gas hauler bullshit!"

Working on a snap on snap off Remix. Anyone have recommendation for connector methods already on thingiverse. I'm currently trying some tinkercad snap connectors I found. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/bO7RNqHspSt-snap-connectors

This is a gunship, and I am a Navy pilot! To hell with this gas hauler bull$hit!
Give us that tankless design already, or I call Amos.

To quote Fred Johnson from the first book of The Expanse - Leviathan Wakes: "...and a state of the art martian torpedo bomber"
I have to agree, that a version without the gas tanks would be much appreciated.

Also I'am looking forward to season 2 even though I would like it more if they just kept the story as written in the books but thats bragging at a high level :)

Lovely design. A tankless design would be cool especially with the PDCs :P

Thanks for this design, I love it! My make of it came out great, on to painting.

I didn't even Know there was a show! I'm definitely printing this. Will there be more model as different ships and props appear in the series?

Yup! Keep an eye out for new Expanse models as we get closer to the premiere of season 2!

Day 2 of printing: This thing is GORGEOUS.

How did it come out?

First: Dear SyFy this is the best show on TV. Thank you for the show AND for making these files available.
Second: I pull in the ZIP file and I get a bunch of files with really long random looking names - 4fa11293eed0eb2b04aae1ab08812b6d.OBJ for example. Am I messing up somewhere? Is the ZIP file up here corrupt?
I can get them one at a time, but if there is a problem with the ZIP I thought you'd like to know.

Sorry for the trouble. We've updated the page to include STL files. Hopefully that helps in the future.

Will there be a higher poly version that I could use on lets say a Form 1 or 2?

Not yet, but we are tinkering with it. Keep an eye out for updates.

How can I get this if I don't have a 3D printer!?

Follow @Syfy on Twitter or like Syfy on Facebook! More info on how to win some models coming soon :)

I'd love to print this. However, I can't seem to get the files converted to STL to use with my printer. I don't suppose anyone can help with that?
Update: I think I managed to convert them.

Sorry for the trouble! We just added STL versions of all the parts!

Use netfabb ( cloud version or netfabb basic) it converts obj->stl .

@WizZifnab, how did you manage to convert the files from OBJ to STL?

Turns out that Windows 10 has 3D support built in. I had read that somewhere at one point but forgot.

So, I just ended up double clicking one of the OBJ files and voilà it opened it in Window 10's 3D Builder app. It asked for a units measurement (should be mm). Then on the right is a circular menu where you can pick File icon, then the Save icon. In the Save dialog, I changed the Save as type to STL format and I was good to go.

Note that on a few of the OBJ files, 3D Builder complains that the objects is invalid in some way and asks if it can Auto Repair. I let it.

So now I'm in the process of printing via my Nobel 1.0 printer. I'm a noob, so we'll see how that goes. I already printed the largest part. Its not perfect. I think my resin had sat too long. But its good enough. We'll see how the other parts go. I started the second largest part today.

Thanks for the advice. I'm gonna start printing Roci tonight as I watch Episode 6.

Grab 123Design, import, export.

Thanks Nevaar. I jumped over to their site and gave it a quick look over. Its looks pretty good, so maybe I'll be giving it a try one of the weekends coming up. I also so their camera phone app for taking 3D images. Like to give that a try too.

Could we get a version that doesn't have the disguise cargo tanks strapped to the side?

Working on it! We hope to upload a stand-alone version of the Tachi very soon. Stay tuned.

aren't they a separate parts?

Yup! In the meantime, you could download the parts without the tanks and assemble without.

Thanks so much!
