I was building a single plate Prusa I3 and I was having a lot of trouble finding a 1.75mm version of the Greg's extruder. I ended up just modifying the scad file, but I figured that this might help some other people out one day.

This version is made to have a 24mm hole seperation.

Very interesting design, as it is, it seems I can use your design to fit a mounting bracket I've made for geeetech 3d printers (prusa i3 pro B). I'm going to try and add a support for an inductive sensor.

This one has a 24mm hole separation.

Changed. Thanks

Thank you very much. Would you be able to make a 30mm one? Thanks again

Hi, I want to buy a kit but only have 3mm greg extruder. (include 200g filament) Sorry if this is bad question but could I print this extruder using the 3mm set and then get a 1mm hobbed bolt and 1.75 hotend (J-head) with the package, use the old screw and not and thing and make your extruder? If I could please tell me as it would save $$$. Thanks

It seems to me the hole separation is not 30mm as you suggest but actually 24mm.
Am I missing something?

Best wishes

what gears dose this use

I just printed one of the 1.75mm bodies and it has 24mm hole spacing, can you please post one with 30mm hole spacing for 1.75mm?

the idler in the 1.75mm version is a few layers off the plate!

Is there a reason for that? It happens when I change the filament diameters in openscad

ionno, i had to netfab it to get slic3r to even finish slicing.. and my skirt prints around the body, prints like 4 layers (i'm using .2 height), then starts trying to print the idler in space!

any chance you could post just the body, since its a pretty standard idler?

I posted the body and the ilder seperately. The idler still might be messed up, but I'll try to fix it soon.

If you have the scad file I'd like a 3mm filament version too please

I uploaded a 3mm version. Note, that these extruder bodies have a hole seperation of 30mm, not 24mm.

many thanks for the 3mm filament version.
