I just wanted to make a simple model for easy printing and assembly, so my design could differ slightly from the original movie prop. It does not need supports or painting. Just print it to whatever size you want and enjoy! Interactive view at http://maxterwip.blogspot.com

Wow Disney, nice job. Gee, taking down peoples custom made things ABSOLUTELY makes me want to buy some licensed products of yours instead.

Idiots corporate schmucks.

The head is to small, I will have to reprint it larger!

Hi ! Great job ! I just have one problem : the first layer of the bodyplate orange is printing in the air. I'm working on slic3r, did anybody fixed this problem yet ? I have the same problem with the headframe orange and the headframe silver.

Thanks! It may help if you use a brim or raft support. Brim technique is much faster to print.

For those that have made this model, what is the most secure way to attach the head to the body section. I know that the download files include a small cylinder that attaches to the bottom of the head piece. Do you just glue this onto the body, or is there a better way?

Is that your blog? If so, could you post the file for the base you made up for bb-8?
