So when you take a tea at the vending machines (at least here in Italy) you get a plastic cup nearly filled with very hot water. This is a holder where these cups perfectly fit and you can take your tea without burning your hands with the added feeling of a tea cup, given to you by the handle!
I'm using it daily at my office ;)
This is an adaptation of a model I'm selling on Shapeways, you can buy it if you prefer not to print it :)
The model is very different due to optimization of the printing tecnique.
Note: I cannot guarantee perfect fitting of cups! You have to try them and... let me know in a comment ;)
Please also check Espresso cup holder!
If you print and use this object please post an action picture in the made section. Just a little satisfaction to me ;)
I sliced the model with Cura, used "brim" as a platform adhesion type, shell thickness 1.2. In theory this model should be printed without supports but my printer had a problem doing that when starting to bridge on the top but I suspect it was a problem of my printer. The model in picture was however printed with support a 40° overhang with 20% fill amount to be sure that all was ok.
