Update 23/12/2013: Added a new video.

This quadcopter is based on MikeyB's original designs with some modifications. I changed some things that I found were problematic to my hardware configuration.

The mount for the kk2 controller was rotated 45 degrees in order to get it to allign forward with an X configuration quadcopter.

Also it features a top mount for an fpv camera, while removing the go-pro mount at the bottom.

Some other minor modifications include new strap holes for battery, and also grooves to keep components from sliding.

The quadcopter was printed on an UltiMax DYI 3D printer.
I also used their filament which printed very well.

I detailed the build on my blog:

ARMS :( could you please add a download for the arms or are they the same as the Hexacopter?

arm files are with the original look at "remixed from" on the side of the page.

Hi I was wondering if you were willing to make one and sell it?

great build but could you put the stl files from the arms please?

Great build, and I've enjoyed reading the process at your blog. Well done!

I'd like to print this on a Makerbot Replicator 2X, but it doesn't support your PRT files. Is there a way to convert these without having the Alibre CAD software?

The Makerbot Repblicator should be able to print the .STL files included. I added the .PRT source files for personal modification, however they require Alibre to modify (You can get a free trial on their site).

Super, I needed the bottom and middle plate - thanks! I am builing Crossfire w/o fpv and camera :)

Interesting mods.... What are you using for landing gear there?

The landing gears are pool noodles with printed tubing fit inside to prevent the zip ties from ripping the foam.

I like the antenna collar! Simple and functional...
