Any chance someone could re-work a version for the Canon dslr? I have a T2i. Awesome project btw, I miss my old newtonian,

I appreciate the effort but this model is about 1mm too narrow to properly fit an F mount and the barrel is too big for a 1.25" and too small for a 2" focuser. Love the idea though. As far as focus problem is concerned you have to use a Barlow in between the T adapter and the mount - it's the only way to get the camera far enough away from the objective to attain focus. So Camera - your NO - Barlow - Focuser (in that order). Thanks for the effort!

My Meade has 2 mounting spots for the mirror. For photography, you use the lower one then recolimate. All telescopes will have the same problem, nothing to do with this design.

I really like this design, however this prints with a diameter of 1.63 inches. My eyepiece size is 1.83 inches. Is there anyway you could make one that size for me? I could scale it up but then the top diameter will be all messed up. I have an Orion 8" scope so I think that the 1.83 inch size would be standard. What dos your 1.63 inch one go into?
If you had some type of bushing (this washer) that could slide over the 1.63 inch shaft that would work also. But probably wouldnt be as stable that way. Let me know I would greatly appreciate it!!

I threw in a quick shot of the moon, more to come...

To my dismay I couldn't get the telescope to focus with this current design. I'm working on a 2nd revision that slips over the eyepiece which will also improve magnification.

Unfortunately no, from my vantage we didn't see much but I'll post something shortly once I get a 2nd version of the adapter together.

FYI, Your full name is in the screenshot.

I appreciate the heads up. It's ok, I've got my full name on my profile.
