Summary

UPDATE 20JAN2014: I believe I have fixed the power plug issue by just removing the parts around the micro USB input, so I hope that helps some. Also added Top and Bottom parts separatley for anyone with small platform or wants to just print a new top. The latest files are dated with "20JAN2014" in the .stl file name.

OctoPrint - http://OctoPrint.org - deserved it's own Raspberry Pi case, so I made one. It will be the default case for all OctoPrint installations we do from now on. It's a derivative of the RichRap and Foosel edition of this case, and it's also on TinkerCAD for you to play with, find the link below.

It will be used for The BotBQ - http://BotBQ.org - as soon as it's done printing, and I will post some pics of it as well.

This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://tinkercad.com/things/doyxhn05dAQ

Just print as normal... DO NOT USE A RAFT!!!! If you want you can just use a lot of skirts and you should be fine.

Great Case design, printed it off and am using it on my first gen pi. Any chance this would be remixed for a pi 2 / 3? I currently use a pi 2 to run my ocotprint so it would be awesome for it. The only ones I see on here are meant to be screwed in, this design is much cleaner.

if there isn't a remix, any chance I could get the model? I would like to take a crack at the remix but would have a hard time modeling the clips between the top and the bottom.

Does this case fit the B or the B+?

Very nice work on Richard's case design. I used the same case on the B model case (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:438792) and B+ model case (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:437827) created for the 3D Printing 101 class at Element 14. The differences are pretty significant between the B and B+ models of Raspberry Pi you want to use.

Derivitive of RichRap's RasPi Model B design using the same OctoPrint and MM2 bracket from my Model B+ Case.
OctoPrint RasPi model B+ With MendelMax bracket integrated.

Just added Top and Bottom pieces separately for anyone who might find it useful. Also uploaded the case which should have more room for the USB power connectors.

can you also post the pieces individually. i want to print out a clear top and different colored bottom

Taking care of this now!

Thanks! I am eager to print this out.

Just for reference, maybe you should upload the two halfs separately as an option. Then for smaller printers it can still fit :).

Hi ="thingiverse-85b42dd8aae56e01379be5736db5b496:disqus" href="http://disqus.com/thingiverse-85b42dd8aae56e01379be5736db5b496/Tomek ! I'll consider doing this today while I edit the case to have a better fit, thanks for your suggestion.

I agree with krolco, the camera can be held by the center part of the cutout 8-). Easy print. Thanks!

Nice design. I printed it, and there isn't quite enough clearance for the power connector. That should be just a small tweak. Otherwise, everything else seems to fit fine. Thanks!

The case design is not mine, you can find it here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:25363http://www.thingiverse.com/thi...
