No results.

Seems to fit correctly, gonna test it out soon. i just tried another and it were off with 5 cm everywhere. i just wasted material and time on a laser cutter.

There is a small piece that looks like an F made of 3 mm Delrin. What is this part for and where do I put it? I cannot find anything on the WiKi related to it.

Never mind, I just found out where it went when looking over the assembly of the dual extruder head. It goes on top of the amplifier circuit board.

Has anyone given this a shot with acrylic? If so what were the results?

I painted it blue with acrylic and looks great! I used about 40 ml for the external case only. You should add a bit of water to the paint, so that you can paint over the logo and not obscure it too much. If I had to do it again, I would first paint a white base, though.

@PabloBell, I think what she meant was, "Has anyone replaced the wood parts with acrylic parts?". @kscottz, yes someone has made one of these in acrylic. See http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:22742http://www.thingiverse.com/thi...

Thanks for sharing!

Could you please post the up to date version of the drawings? This is revision 3, but you are shipping revision 4. One of the things missing is the new 'Bertho' drive, so people have no way for instance to repair or upgrade to the current version.

Please could you create DXF files with the correct measurements so that I can get this cut on my local laser cutter. Also separating the file into different files for each thickness will be very helpful as will be setting different colors for cut, etch and description as previously requested.

Ultimaker : Thanks a lot for your attitude of sharing  !

be good if the parts were seperate and not joined as if you have a high powered laser it is all but impossible to common cut parts effectively. also would be good if they were layered or at least labelled what is cut, what is etched and what is just descriptive/instructional text...

i can not find dimensions...with which program do i have to open the .eps file?

auto cad, illustrator, autodesk???

Illustator is the (native) program that made the file, so it should open correctly in this program. The dimensions are correct when you open it. Ultimaker's design is based on metric sizes.
