What's the print proportion that I gotta set in the printer program? I've printed de nacele with a proportion of 1.0 and it was too small. I want the 250mm high aerogenarator.

well there should be nothing than 1 as factor

... or not comment , that is the question :-)

Is there anyway to get ahold of the original files? I'd like to modify the height to be slightly shorter (my printer has a smaller size) but I'd like to maintain the size of the motor housing, so I cannot just scale the turbine.

If you give me the correct size you want, I can try to make it smaller in the next days

Best, Svenergy

I'm printing on a Flashforge finder, build area 140x140x140mm. The 300mm base 1 need to be slightly shorter, and the blade assembly slightly smaller (but maintain the 3mm hole size)

I started to print the wind turbine, but I've run into a little problem printing the blades. I had to use supports on the blades, but now I can't get the supporting material off of the blades. Is there a way to print the blades without supports?

hm first I would recommend to keep more space between support and part. I normally use at least one layer thickness as space. You may also cut the model until no support is necessary but then the rotor looks strange from the backside.

hope that helps. I just removed most off the support manually und sanded the rest down.

Could you give a little more details on the DC motor used and where you got the gear box?
