Arkham Horror is one of my favorite board games. It is a cooperative game based on the horror fiction of H.P. Lovecraft. When playing the game I noticed that it can be hard to see the gates on the board, as the pieces are laid flat and get lost with all of the monsters etc. I created gate pieces, which are made up of two pieces - a base and the decorative gate. You print as many bases that you'd like to use, and then choose how many of the different decorative gate pieces you want. I have added an Elder Sign gate model, which is designed to show that the gate has been closed with the Elder Sign.
The pieces should be snap-fit. You may need to cut some extra plastic off the edges as needed. I generally print with 15% fill and no extra shells. YMMV.
"I have looked upon all that the universe has to hold of horror, and even the skies of spring and the flowers of summer must ever afterward be poison to me. But I do not think my life will be long. As my uncle went, as poor Johansen went, so I shall go. I know too much, and the cult still lives." - The Call of Cthulhu
