The best design so far in 2019. Not many people are doing CFD and releasing STEP files of fan duct at the same time. Grate work

definitly the best design, functionality and great simulation and experimnet. Great job!

Hi @Lukie80, could you please adapt your design (without arms and without throat) for a SUNON 5020 ? I buy 5020 becasue very difficult to find a 5015 from SUNON here ... Thank you !

Hi, What is the optimal vertical distance between the base on the fan-duct and the ouptut on the nozzle ?

You don't happen to have a version for a 4020 fan do you? :D I really tried using fusion but damn I'm such a noob still. I'm having a lot of issues with cooling and this one seems to be the perfect radial duct

Hello! Great design again! Definitely I am a fan of your models.

Can you provide the step version for V2 or no arms version?

Thanks in advance.

you made the side wall 90 ° , an semi circle would be easyer to print ... im new to fusion 360, so can you plz. provide a version with roundes sides ?

hello i like your design can you send me the step with no arm please ! i want to put a bltouch labotecno@gmail.com

Do you have a copy of this without the hanging supports? I would like to be able to just add my own.

I assume you mean the two mounting arms? Sure. What file type do you need: STEP or STL?

Stl would be great. Thank you!

The file is named: fan_duct_blower_noArms-noThroat.STL

YAAAAAAAAAY Solidworks files!!! :)

You just saved me several hours of dealing with annoying SW curve extrusions.

Happy you appreciate it. I'm not a professional engineer so be indulgent with the history. :D Notify me if you need some dependencies or similar.

This design seems very effective. I'm waiting for the blower to try it.

Could you possibly make a V3, adding a little channel in order to send some flow on the upper part of the hotend for cooling?

I made a new version. The simple opening is 9mm x 13mm and you can design a custom nozzle for this opening to adapt to your throat of the hotend.

Thank you very much!

Like your idea. Good one.
Is there anyway to create a STD fan option? If not could you share a step file to help modification?

Thanks! Well there is already a 40x40mm fan-duct here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1275203 (fan_duct.STL and STEP and SLDPRT) and here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1366129. For the duct presented here STEP and DLSPRT were already provided from the beginning.

im thinking the same thing.. because i´ve already printed your fan duct but id like to have this one instead because it has surrounding cooling.
