I am trying to print this in ABS so I can finish it with acetone for a smooth, shiny finish. I am having trouble though with my layers adhering to one another, specifically on the back of the visor. Has anyone else printing this (or anything else) in ABS run into the same issue?

Thank you for this model. Printed at 0.2mm 0% infill and it came out great.

Really nice model of Darth Vader. I printed it on settings: 0.4 mm layer height 0%infill.
The result was good.

I have modified this and increased the size so that it will hold an Echo Dot in the top. I "opened" the grill and also the inside of the cup to allow the sound to escape the front and inside the edges of the helmet. Once I print it I will post the image and .stl file. Thank you for such a cool design.

A bit too "low poly":) The bottom of the cup was only one layer! Unless my print setting were off. Prints wonderfully though otherwise.

It depends on your resolution. I made it 2 layers (0.4mm) to make it possible to print with 0 infill. The new version is 4 layers

New one looks much better in my slicer. With 0.2mm layer height I get my requested 3 bottom layers:) Great job. Thanks.

Nice :) Show me the result afterwards!

I know :) But not using this low-poly model, with this configuration. You can find the others here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1169476/#remixes

Well, maybe it would be a nice idea to put "low-poly" in your title =) LOL
