can u design or how could i modify to print a 67 mm lens cap.

There's an openscad script included in the files. Download OpenScad and play with some of the numbers.

is there any chance you can upload a 46 mm version of this cover?

I made one and it fits my AF Nikkor 35-70mm lense nicely. I scaled it to 51mm diameter in the SCAD file.

Printed @ 0 shells, 35% infill, 0.35 mm layers. The only thing I changed from the stock SCAD file was to change "w=1" to "w=2" in the 'spring()' module. This made the spring thicker and more stiff. The default would have yielded a springiness that was t
o weak for my taste. Great thing! :)

Looks great, fits pretty well, the spring is FAR too weak, as printed (72mm) the cap falls off easily. I wonder if the spring should get thicker for larger diameters.

The springs do seem to be the tricky bit, my original design had a diamond shape as the spring but it was way too stiff. Does anyone out there have good suggestions for springs?

Check out my remix, I made the springs curved to relieve the stress from
the ends, it works great. Flexed my first one a bunch and it doesn't even turn white anywhere on the spring :)
