Novelty vivarium for the observation and study of the pest Blatta Orientalis.
Layer height greater than .2mm recommended for better footing for the critters.
Vivarium made from 30oz. PETE container, about 5 inches in diameter. 1mm holes drilled in top and bottom for ventilation. Structure held in position with binder clips and small magnets. Dry dog or cat food is sufficient, but don't forget to supply a source of water.
Optional: Cut a hole in the lid and epoxy a piece of .005" Mylar for increased viewability. These guys like to climb, so using hot glue to attach a thin vertical stick is a nice treat.
