Thank you so much for sharing this pattern, I am a little late in sharing my use with you, but wanted to show you that in 2017 I turned it into large chairs:

Why can't I download this? When I hit download, it just gives me information about licensing and attribution. I get the same message on every project. It's driving me nuts!

How did you design the pattern? I would like to make patterns myself

Hi!
I don't understand what you did with the lamp socket, the base, ...
Can you explain me step by step? Or do you have some pictures ?
Thanks! :)

Yes I would also like to know what dimensions you used. Right now I have the pentagon faces set to ~3.5in x ~3.5in. Is that similar to the size you used?

Hello, sorry for the late answer.
The sites are about 132mm (~5.1in) long (one corner to the middle of the opposite side)

What are the dimensions of this? When I open the file in Illustrator is is huge (86 inches per side)

Maybe there is some error calculating from metric to imperial units.

do u have the stl file?

thanks for share! i've only one question, how many watt your laser have? because i'm not sure if mine 2w laser can handle to cut wood.. cadboard mabye?

I think the laser I used was 50w. Don't think a 2w laser can cut plywood, but you can prove me wrong ;)

What thickness of material is this designed to be used with?

What type of socket did you use? any model number or picture?

I used one of these cheap ceramic sockets for 12V halogen lamps from ebay. The powersupply is outside of the lamp and has a pwm regulator to control the brightness.

Can I convert it to 3D printing?
