There are several configurations of the Commodore uIEC/SD card adapter from Retro Innovations. A friend had the configuration picture above so none of the designs on Thingiverse quite fit his. This design is based on Rhys79's and also provides access to the three buttons mounted on the SD card board.
I know this isn't the best-looking print and the lid looks like crap - my printer bed was dirty.
This was also an excuse to start playing learning how to design with OnShape.com
I printed with 2 perimeters to give the sidewalls a little more strength. It's still a thin shell but once the lid is in place it's more than strong enough for the application.
This was designed using OnShape.com which is an online 3D parametric design software. A limited account is free but you can do a lot with it and also learn how to do a pareamtric design similar to using SolidWorks. SolidWorks is more feature rich but it's also cost about $4k for the software license.
I realized I forgot the pad on the lid from Rhys79's design. This helps lock the SD card in it's slot. It still can be locked in the slot but the pad would make it better. Will add this on my next update
