The Mobius camera is a popular camera for hobbyists. This is a conversion kit to turn your Mobius camera into a 3D-stereoscopic camera for mounting on a FPV Racer (First-person view quad-copter) or an Aerial Photography RC Aircraft for filming 3D aerial videos. The AUW is 70g which means you could mount it on a standard Go-Pro camera gimbal too. :)
To complete the conversion, you will need:

  1. Mobius Camera (from Hobbyking, etc)
  2. Stereoscopic 3D vision lens for smart phone (from Aliexpress)
  3. 12mm lens with 53deg FOV (from Aliexpress)
  4. 3M double-sided tape
  5. Super glue
  6. A mini hand-saw or Dremel rotary tool (for cutting plastic)

Looks like a good idea. Cheaper than most. Nice work.

12mm is wrong. you showed us 6mm lens used. leading to 1/2.875 chip(approx.) 53° = 42mm equiv.(FF). update:; aptina-datasheet is telling 1/3 chip leading to 7.3x crop= 44mm FF equiv. lens.
6mm (44mm) 53°
A lens 2.6mm/19mm equiv.)-86°
B lens 1.5mm/11mm equiv.116°
C2(replaced bad C)-1.1mm/8mm equiv.-132°
calculate with this tool: by trying out. HFOV-based 35mm equiv,/FF
