Simple USB socket case. I designed this for the 3dpBurner2 3D printed laser cutter/engraver ( http://www.3dpburner.blogspot.com ), but it can be used for any other project.

If for any reason you want to use an extension cable this case is for you.

I found the extension cable as:
"50cm USB 2.0 B Male to USB B Female Socket Printer Panel Mount Extension Cable"

Print on STL position without supports. Use two M3x10mm bolts for fixing the socket to the case.

It´s ready to be fixed by using M3 stuff, double side tape or hot glue (i use double side foamy tape).

I agree that there are times when having a USB extension is very useful. However, be aware that because of timing issues in the USB Standard, there is a limit to the total length of cable. If I remember correctly, it is something like 3 meters.

I think you need a high-quality cable to go over 3 meters. That's why you can find cables over 3m (I have one and it works flawlessly)

Thanks for the note!
