This is my first attempt to make printable Bowden tube holder to Emaker Huxley. Normally the tube is hold in place by pneumatic connector, but the 3mm PTFE (nylon) tube is so slippery it tends to get loose every now and then.
Based on the initial tests, this seems to be working fine.
- Print 2 of these
- Take 4 nuts+bolts (I used 4m 30mm cause I happened to have those)
- And two cable ties (20cm, 5mm wide).
Put these parts around bowden tube and fix it to feeder part with those cable ties. If the clamp can't hold the tube, try adding some sanding paper (rough side in) around the PTFE tubing.
(Edit: dec 22, 2011 You'll only need to print two or these, not four)
