This is actually a photoscan of a bust of a Russian poet Mayakovski. The original is located in central Moscow. It’s funny but the bust and the museum are embedded in a newly build former KGB buildings. The museum is actually located in KGB!
I just liked the sculpture which is quite brutal. I like Mayakovskiy as well.
Since Mayakovski committed a suicide in 1930 ( I could be mistaken with a date), I made auxiliary model with poor guy’s head blowing away. I am afraid tiny scull connectors may not be possible to replicate.
I made few photos, processed them at my3dscanner.com, edited a mesh in Meshlab. I could do it in Photofly, but my3dscanner makes a denser and better point clouds (it depends on a model though). Hypr3D is very good as well, their texture feature and a viewer are the best, but it is less important if you need to build a doable model.
