Hey I just noticed that your photos show a part with an extra step to raise the new spar to the same level as the other spars, but the STL and SCAD file don't. Is there a new version around?

Thanks,
pix

Sorry, I forgot the save a copy of that final version with the extra level jump. However, it should be really easy to update the *.scad file using http://www.openscad.org/

It works fine anyhow, just uploaded a pic.

I'll rework it if/when this one breaks. So far it's lasted a lot longer than any of my previous attempts.

I guess I could always pull the motor a few mm out of the holder.

Thanks for getting my Crazyflie out of the mothballs :)

are you glueing it into place? is that what I'm seeing in the last pic?

I used hot glue (basically melted plastic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot-melt_adhesive), which is relatively easy to peel off or reflow when I new replacement part is needed.

Yes, hot glue.
