Print Thing TagSummary
Update: 1 OCT 13
After my first version broke under everyday use (not a surprise) I reworked a few things. The fillet at the bottom of the blade is thicker and I rotated the print 90deg. The result is much stronger. The red, white and blue one was printed with 3 shells, 0.3mm, and 15% fill.
Original:
I have a stack of bamboo cutting boards in my kitchen that need washing after use. If you use more than one and just stack them flat to dry it is not the best thing to do for them to stay sanitary. So a friend suggested that I design a rack from them. So I created this one and printed it once again in multiple colors using the pause at Z feature in my Rep 2. I am not completely happy with the finish or the strength of the design so I will probably make a second, sturdier, version in the future. On the finish I printed this one at 0.3mm and it probably would have looked better at 0.2mm but even at that it took many hours to print. Enjoy!
Instructions
I printed it with:
0.3 mm layers
4 shells (Version V2 is 3 shells)
10% fill (Version V2 is 15%)
