Any chance you made this to mount from the left side as you look at the extruder? I upgraded to an Aluminum extruder, but fan design is lacking, and my fan can only mount on left. Love how yours looks and think it would be perfect for what I want.
Thanks!

I made this and had to use a dremel to trim the end. It was dragging on my prints. Other than that, it fit well.

Where do I plug an extra fan into to get power? Is there space on the printrboard?

I ordered a 2-wire "Y" connector that I plugged both fans into and then plugged the "single" end of the connector into the fan port on the printrboard. No problems or power issues to speak of so far and I've been running it like this for months.

Is there anyway you could upload something I could import to autocad? I dont have inventor but would like to make some changes to the model.

If you let me know what file type you would like I can see if I can save it as that in Inventor. Since AutoCAD and Inventor are both made by Autodesk, I was under the impression that the files were fairly cross compatible.

sadly no,there is some exporting that needs to be done I believe. or its needs to be saved as a different file type then I would be able to import it.

I found this on google

Applications>AEC Exchange>Save as DWG Solids

Don't know if that is actually in your version on Inventor.

I've uploaded the .dwg file for this part. Hopefully this file works for you
