does anyone know if you have to print this with supports? I would guess the ears and nose might be a little in the danger overhang zone as they appear red in my CURA slicer which indicates there might be an issue printing etc.. Any tips tricks? Im printing it out on a ROBO 3D R1plus

I printed with supports, especially for the ears.

what scale are the ones in the pictures printed at

it wont let me download

Thanks for the great design!
My girlfriend likes it really much :)
And i'm sorry about the shitty people on the internet :(

when people do the acetone finish i think it ruins it

Nice work. I include your low-poly bunny along with a high-poly bunny in my presentation on 3D Printing for Teaching and Learning. Your model really helps the audience connect with polygonal modeling. I also mention the extreme difference in file size between the low- and high-poly models.

How did you even do this? I'm relatively new to MakerBot software- that is really the only kind I know. I think it's adorable, in a weird sort of way :D I may print it for a friend!

And, really, auclard68, there are "stupider" things on Thingiverse! This bunny has a modern look to it- it has taken the concept of the bunny to the next level. johnny6 has refreshed an animal that has been adored for ages!

Blender is a popular open-source program you can use to decimate models, lowering the polygon count.

Blender isn't the most user friendly program out there (think Photoshop in three dimensions), but you can find many tutorials on YouTube.

Also try doing an Internet search for Blender Decimate, and you should find some guides.

Did you really just feature a low poly bunny that was merely optimised? the guy didnt even go to any effort and you feature it - way to stick it up all the people that drive others to your site. Screw you Thingiverse, I'm going home.

New things get featured every day. Maybe if you contributed more than troll comments to this site, one of yours will have a temporary display on the home page slider too? ^_^

You dont need to be nice to him Johnny, but thank you for the "niceness". :P

Oh don't worry I will, clearly anything can make it on the front page these days, no matter how cheap and nasty. Yay for you, you ran the bunny through a decimator, /golf clap.

Someones got some major buthurt from not being featured..

I would agree with you if this guy had something to contribute but I looked at his profile and other than a screen name and his name there is nothing there. this guy hasn't even bothered to like anything. maybe all he is capable of is criticizing others work instead of creating any of his own. So sad.

And you've done even less
